Cafe REX is the reinvention of a national institution - The Great British Cafe. Our menu combines all the best bits of the coffee shop, cafe and restaurant and all made from the freshest ingredients.

We wouldn't be a British cafe without an emphasis on classic British food. We have wide range of dishes from a breakfast of boiled egg & soidiers, a simple goats cheese salad with our home made dressing, steak & kidney pie or a spiced duck breast. Cafe REX is a place for the family to dine together. Imagine a great Sunday roast but with no arguments over the washing up!!

We've added many special touches to our menu, which is not surprising when you learn Christian, a Michelin starred chef helped us create it. We support British farmers and use British ingredients where we can. Our suppliers work hard sourcing fresh ingredients from family run farms and ensure that they have the highest standards for food hygiene and safety.

We believe that the cafe should be at the heart of the local community. A social dining place for everyone. We may be new, but we have traditional values: simple, honest food at good prices and served with pride. The Great British Cafe is a national institution that goes back many years, with this sort of heritage we're not interested in fads or styles, just Great British food.
